We are aware that iOS users have been experiencing difficulties with our last update - some with crashes at startup, some with inconvenient UI layout due to the "Dynamic Islands" feature that has been introduced in several Apple devices recently.
We have just released a patch (version 4.3.14) that should address at least the crashes, and in some cases it might also improve the UI, depending on device and OS version. We will be working to find a solution that covers the vast majority of cases and we'll release another update as soon as possible - for the meantime though, we prioritized the functionality of the upcoming event.
While we were at it, we fixed an unintended effect of D1275 (Solemnity), affecting Non-Unique buildings for higher values than expected. To compensate, we buffed D1275 and Secret of the Warriors upgrades.

With this update, we also fixed a few persisting bugs and changed Stoic Resistance to provide instant coins similar to the "Need a head start" trophy.
A5 works are progressing. We are reshaping mercenary mechanics quite a bit and introduce some new stuff, to provide a twist to the game feeling. As soon as the beta is ready, we'll cooperate with our testers to ensure that the experience feels fun and refreshing. Stay tuned for more info!

We just released version 4.3.7, which contains Two new Gifts, mobile UI improvements, bugfixes and balance changes! The updated version should be rolled over soon to all platforms.
The new Gifts were created to help starting players with advancing quicker in the game, give all players a way to get Scry bonuses without need to watch ads, and let everyone who wishes to support us further do so with a periodic Gift option instead of one-time-only.

NEW GIFTS ADDED. Gift of the Myths and Gift of the Faithful. Both are independent from other Gifts. Myths is aimed at new players, increasing production and mana regen; Faithful is a monthly Gift providing all Scry bonuses at once, granting daily Rubies and other increasing bonuses as you keep logging in.
MOBILE UI CHANGES. You can now opt to tap upgrades to see their tooltip, and use a button to purchase them. Useful when you want to learn about new stuff. In the in-game Options menu, you can disable this new feature to switch to the previous tap-buy behavior.
DG2 production effect is now based on offline production.
DG9 offline effect fixed.
UDP1 now adds 1 tier to Spiritual Surge.
DMP1 now gives +1 tier to base faction spells instead of evil spells. Also decreases Evil spells mana cost by 20%.
DWP1 Max Mana base and scaling increased. Time count effect increased.
TTP1 now also affects buildings T1 and T11. Base increased.
FCP1 scaling increased.
Swapped around a few Lineage Perk 1s and Perk 2s
Elven Luck production base decreased, but production effect and stat count are now also based on your Autoclick power.

SYSTEM CHANGES

Many wording changes, including renaming "this game" references to "this Era" and "Elite/MAD factions" to "Astral factions".
Mechanic consolidation and expansion: Triggered Tax Collections Power. In a similar way some Goblin upgrades already do, many other effects now make
your spells cast free Tax Collections, additively or multiplicatively. Triggered Tax Collections aggregate into a single stat, in a similar way automatic clicks do.
Clicks per second are also aggregated into a stat allowing for multiplicative increases.
Reincarnation gems requirement and Coins required per Gem have been streamlined throughout all Ascensions except Ascension 0. As a result, you may find your next Abdication or Reincarnation requirements different from before.
Royal Exchange container is now named Royal Market. Tooltip reworked for clarification. Royal Market bonus is now separated from the standard Ascension penalty system.
The Buy Quantity button was reworked to a dropdown menu instead of cycling through buy modes.
Added an option to disable toast messages.
BALANCE CHANGES
A lot of time-based requirements have been reduced throughout all game stages.
All challenges, bloodlines, lineages and lineage perks, and artifact sets upgrades no longer suffer from Ascension penalties.
Lineage perks are now unlocked asymmetrically: factions will distribute their perks across a large Reincarnation range and will unlock more through Ascensions. Lineages will have a hard cap of 25 levels per Ascension.
Spells now suffer different Ascension Penalties based on their Tier, the higher the better. Spell tiers are now unlocked at a rate of one per Ascension, meaning that you can cast up to Tier 2 while in Ascension 1. Each spell also has additional effects per tier, and upgrades are challenge-locked. Previous tiers above maximum have been removed from existing saves, but you don't need to unlock them again if you already did. All spells, except extraordinary spells (Tax Collection with Round Table, Dragon's Breath, Catalyst, Twisting Nether, season spells), now follow this rule. Offline bonuses provided through tier upgrades have been assigned to their respective ascension. Mana cost multipliers increased for all spell tiers.
As a special spell, Dragon's Breath now starts with 5 colors and unlock new ones across Ascensions. Its production effects will never suffer from Ascension penalties.
Starting mana amount reduced to 500/1000 on starting a new Era.
Ascension 3 Facility upgrades now provide Research Budget to their respective branch based on time spent in this Reincarnation with the time combinations of their faction representative.
Ascension 3 Mercenaries now gain additional Research budget when they purchase spell contracts and union contracts; branches affected depend on factions selected.
All Reincarnation powers unlocked after Ascension 0 now only start counting from the ascension they are unlocked in for their bases, with adjusted effect. For example, Reincarnation 50 power is based on (R-39), Reincarnation 120 power is based on (R-99).
All Spell tier upgrades now also multiplicatively increase Faction Coins found while offline by 200% per tier (stacking additively with same sources).
Angel, Demon and Faceless Bloodline now provide the ability to cast their alignment spell regardless of affiliation. If you already have that spell, its effect is increased.
Base mana regen, and mana regen upgrade series have been increased.
Excavation's faction coin generation base increased, scaling decreased. Excavations now always give Faction Coins.
Excavation Resets now have a dynamic coin requirement of 3 orders of magnitude below the Reincarnation level, increasing by 1 each reset. You no longer lose anything by resetting excavations. You can no longer reset your excavations for free in Ascension 0, but you can still use Rubies.
Many Faction upgrades, researches, lineages and challenge effects have been rebalanced and/or reworked.
Removed usable restrictions from faction upgrades and researches that target or require specific game elements such as spells or Unique Buildings.
Reverse Autocast is no longer a requirement for Tiered Autocast, they are now separate and independent upgrades.

Today we want to spend a few words to celebrate Realm Grinder's 10th anniversary this year! Thank you all, old and new players, for choosing to play our game! We are a very small team - Realm Grinder started with only 2 people, then one of our friends joined us as artist - and we are players ourselves first and foremost, so we put great joy and effort in working on this title for so long, listening to and accepting all feedback from everyone. As you may guess, making everyone happy is a difficult if not impossible task, but we always tried our best, taking different approaches and evolving many aspects of the game structure and quality, to improve it and make it better over the years.
Know that we plan to continue doing so for many years to come! With our beta testers and friends we are working to increase the entertainment and quality of life of the existing aspects, as well as extending the endgame content to provide more hours of fun for those who already completed everything as of today.
Right now, we are working on improving the template system for researches/mercenaries, which we haven't touched for a long time and we feel it deserves a bit of a overhaul, especially for mobile players who got the short end of the stick with some of our systems. Originally, the game was intended for desktop only, but over the years we ported it to other platforms and with the discontinuation of Flash we believe it was about time to make it more mobile-friendly.
Aside from quality improvement, we are also laying the foundations for Ascension 5, the next big step with regards to new content. It will take a while to get ready, but hopefully we will able to refine it enough for everyone to enjoy when it is released. Contrary to the last 3 years, which we have spent working on the huge patch that we released recently, updates with fixes, rebalancing and improvements will keep coming regularly, alongside seasonal events. Version 4.3.0 has just been released! This is the first major update in 3 years, we've been working on it with our trusted beta testers and it was based on everyone's feedback. We have tried our best to keep you all up to date with the changes, but the full scope of the update will still be quite impactful, especially for mobile users' quality of life! Now we can resume working on expanding the endgame content, including Ascension 5 and more! There are probably a few minor bugs in the released version, but a lot of them have already been fixed and will be included in the Easter event update, which is coming mid-april.

On a side note, the huge overhaul update is finished and will be released some time after the end of the Valentine event and before the start of the Easter event.
